Slum Base Plate

Description

The concrete slump test measures the consistency of fresh concrete before it sets. It is performed to check the workability of freshly made concrete, and therefore the ease with which concrete flows. It can also be used as an indicator of an improperly mixed batch. Base plates are optional and make the test easier to perform, producing more consistent results. The plate itself forms a ready-made, non-absorbent flat surface with integral clamps to secure the foot tabs of the slump cone, allowing freedom of movement.
