Magnetic Thermometer

Description

A magnetic thermometer is a device which works on the principle of Curie’s Law. According to this law, the magnetic susceptibility of a paramagnetic substance is inversely proportional to the absolute temperature of the substance. This thermometer is used to measure a temperature of about 0.001 Kelvin. Magnetic thermometers increase in efficiency as temperature decreases, which makes them extremely useful in measuring very low temperatures with precision.
