Description
In laboratories, a laminar air flow cabinet is used to create a sterile atmosphere for activities like plant tissue culture. This is because the presence of pollutants in the environment may readily impact these processes. It’s a type of fluid (gas or liquid) flow in which the fluid travels smoothly or in regular paths, in contrast to turbulent flow, in which the fluid undergoes irregular fluctuations and mixing. In laminar flow, the velocity, pressure, and other flow properties at each point in the fluid remain constant.
