Molds

Description

Molds is a term used in the construction and building industry to refer to a type of formwork that is used to shape concrete or other materials into specific shapes or designs. Concrete cube tests are performed to determine the compressive strength and other overall characteristics of concrete. In this destructive testing method, concrete cubes are crushed in a compression testing machine. The cubes used in this test have a dimension of 150 x 150 x 150 mm provided the largest aggregate does not exceed 20 mm. The testing requirement varies depending on whether it is being used in general construction or in commercial and industrial structures, and also varies based on the standards from specific geographical areas.
