Food Calorimeter

Description

A calorimeter is a device used to measure the amount of heat involved in a chemical or physical process. For example, when an exothermic reaction occurs in solution in a calorimeter, the heat produced by the reaction is absorbed by the solution, which increases its temperature. A colorimeter is a light-sensing device that is used to measure the absorbance and transmittance of light as it moves through a sample of liquid. The main components of a colorimeter include: Illuminant: A specific, fixed light source that passes through the object.
